   Take her to the vet. It could be a medical issue

   Choosing or does she perhaps have a UTI? Is this new behaviour? If so, take her to the vet.

   Any sudden change in behaviour or habits should be investigated by a vet to look for underlying medical conditions.

   Cover the side of the things she urinates on in plastic.

   You need to get that kitten spayed as of yesterday! Really, the sex hormones in 7mth old kittens are well on the rise and probably causing a lot of tension within the cat social dynamics there.

   Cats pee on things when they are distressed or anxious. The stress response in cats is unique, stress causes the mucosal lining of their bladders to break down and this causes inflamation, if unattended to, it can cause a blockage which is serious. It does sound as if she is stressed.

   If she is really clinging to you, that indicates she is anxious when away from you. It’s something you will gradually be able to wean her from doing once she is more confident away from you. Get some Feliway diffusers set up, they will add some calm to all of the cats. Feliway mimics cat facial scent and makes cats feel calm because it makes their home smell more of them – you won’t be able to smell it. It’s good stuff. Just perfect (and recommended for situations like these – anxiety peeing)

   Three cats need at least 4 litter trays (kept very clean too) and they must be in good private places where they can use them without fear of humans tramping about near by, ambush from other cats or the dog.

   Make sure the cats have plenty of beds where they can get some peace and quiet. The kitten needs her own sleeping spaces too. How is she getting on with the cats and the dog? She may be seeking physical solace with them, and they may not want her, this could be adding to her anxiety.

   Get her checked out by the vet and book that spay appointment. Urinary tract issues can escalate and be serious. Use a pet urine cleaner or biological washing powder in a strong solution to wash and remove the urine smell from all the places she has peed. You don’t want the other cats joining in and peeing in those places too. Natures Miracle is supposed to be very good

   If money is an issue for the cost of the spay, then ring the local humane society to get the numbers of vets who offer low cost spay/neuter clinics.

   I did a lot of research when my cat had a similar problem a few years ago. Most experts say if the cat suddenly starts urinating in places other than the litter box, it’s usually a sign of a urinary problem. As it turned out, my cat had a kidney infection. This caused pain when he urinated, so he would avoid the litter box and instead go to places he felt more comfortable, which of course included my bed. Urinating could also be sign of behavior issues which can happen from the stress of moving, introducing new pets or children to the home, etc. But I’d definitely get the urinary issue resolved first. Clearing up an infection is much easier to solve than the behavioral issue. And if left unchecked the peeing in wrong places from an infection could become a habit and become harder to break.
